Education
I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from UC, Irvine in June 2008 with emphasis in Secondary Math Education and a minor in Chinese Language and Literature. I obtained a Master of Education from UCLA in June 2010 with emphasis in Secondary Math Education.
Experience
I have been tutoring students in various subjects, particular mathematics, for over 18 years. I wanted to be a great teacher so I started training myself to be the best tutor. I always seek to improve my students' learning and understanding of mathematics through multiple and different ways of presenting the topics. During my undergrad and graduate years, I took as many classes about mathematics and how to teach mathematics as possible. My specialization is secondary mathematics education with a side passion for astrophysics and computer programming (C++, JAVA, HTML, Python, and now currently learning more about cyber security)
