Joshua Shapiro the founder of Rise Up Educational Services, is a dedicated educator committed to drastically altering the educational experience. He believes in using modern technologies to aid the teaching process in order to relate to the 21st century student. He addresses motivation issues by helping the student become self-reliant, and thereby be able to throw himself at the goal of his choosing. Over the last six years Joshua has worked as a public school teacher, students with special needs assistant, Track and Field coach, Private tutor, and founder/teacher at Midas Academy, a private educational institute focusing on SAT, English Language Development and general subject tutoring. Joshua received his B.A. in history from U.C.L.A and is currently working on his M.A. in history.
