I received my M.D. from the Yale School of Medicine and have provided 10+ years of quality tutoring and academic advising to many satisfied students and parents. My philosophy is that success for a student best comes when it is motivated from within. I aim to provide counseling that builds a deep sense of motivation for why a student should be studying and working hard. I constantly remind the student to ask him or herself "why am I studying this hard?" I draw from my own academic success to provide a strong example that accomplishment only comes from discipline, strong work ethic, time management, and a deep sense of purpose. I provide one on one academic counseling or tutoring in most subjects. I have helped students who are struggling in any class turn it around within a semester to ultimately ace their final exams. I have helped students improve their SAT scores by 400 points and ACT scores by 6-7 points. I have helped students optimize their college applications and essays to gain admissions into prestigious Ivy Leagues and top 25 universities around the country.
